Home Delivered Meals

The Home Delivered Meals Program provides a hot, nutritious meal in microwave safe reusable trays or bowls. Meals are available Monday
through Friday to persons 60 or older or people with disabilities that
are homebound.

Persons are referred to Aging Resource Center for Douglas County
Home Delivered Meals Program by a social worker, doctor, or family
member. Anyone who receives this service is asked to contribute to
the cost of the meal. Contributions are confidential and no one will
be denied because of their inability to pay. Donation request is $3.50
per meal.  An outreach worker conducts a reassessment to determine
an individual's need for home delivered service.  All information is kept confidential.

For more information on this program, please contact the Program Coordinator, Mary Lu Perham at the Aging Resource Center for
Douglas County at (715) 394-3611 or  (800) 870-2181.
