Specialized Van Transportation

The Specialized Van Transportation Program provides curb to curb transportation services for people who are age 60 and over, or people with a medical disability (vans are handicapped accessible).

Specialized Van Transportation provides rides to medical appointments, personal appointments, banking or shopping, visit family and friends, or to run errands in town.   Participants who need assistance are required to have another person escort them to their appointment, and that person may ride free of charge.

Rides are available Monday through Friday. The earliest pickup time for medical appointments in Superior is 8:30 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. for Duluth. Rides must be scheduled at least 24 hours in advance.  The cost of rides are $4.00 each way
to Superior ($8.00 roundtrip) and $6.00 each way to Duluth ($12.00 roundtrip).
All trips to Duluth are for medical purposes only.

For more information on this program and its services or to schedule a ride,
please call 218-591-0653.
